At Bastion House you can apply for a room through our website application form. The booking process is very simple: 1. Fill in the application form with all required information. 2. Our stuff will check availability and get in touch. 3. Arrange viewing of all available rooms and types. 4. Pay the deposit to book the room. Once completed, we'll send you a payment confirmation and accommodation will be available within 5 working days.

If you have paid the deposit and you have been allocated a room, then if you decide to cancel your booking the deposit is non-refundable.

For the booking you will need to provide the following documents: 1. A copy of your I.D. or passport. 2. A copy of your student card or your letter of acceptance from university. 3. A copy of a utility bill as a proof of your home address.

The duration of the contract is one year (52 weeks).

Rent is due at the beginning of each year, and there is the possibility to make the payment into two instalments if that’s more convenient for you. We accept bank transfers only. When sending your payment, please include your full name and room number so we can match it quickly.

All utility bills (electricity and water), high-speed Wi‑Fi as well as common expenses and council taxes.

The tenancy agreement is for a fixed term of 12 months, with rent payable in two instalments covering 6 months each. If the tenant chooses to terminate the agreement early, the current 6-month rental payment already made is non-refundable. This means that any unused portion of that paid period will not be reimbursed upon early termination.

It's possible to extend your contract for a minimum period of 6 months.

Your room is fully furnished (bed, desk, chair, wardrobe), so you just need your personal belongings, bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, etc.

All rooms are furnished to a high standard with a kitchenette or shared kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven, hob), private bathroom, large desk and chair, double bed and a wardrobe for storage space.

You can add your personal touch, but no permanent alterations and modifications are allowed. To avoid any damage charges please leave the room in the same condition it was given to you.

Yes, Bastion House has a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers.

The building does not have a car parking. There is a Municipality parking space almost opposite the building and can apply for a space at the Municipality which cost around €35 per month for students.

You can park your bicycle free of charge in our in-door back yard.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. If you are a smoker, you may choose a room with a balcony. Under the terms of the Tenancy Agreement, smoking in your room, shared kitchen or study area will result in a fine.

You are responsible for keeping your own room clean. Weekly or biweekly housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional fee.

No, pets are not permitted in Bastion House.

Before you move out there are a couple of things you have to do. 1. Book in advance your check-out inspection 2. Pack up your stuff 3. Throw all the rubbish in designated bins Please make sure that you leave your room completely empty and without any damages.

Your deposit will be refunded within 5 working days after check-out, provided of course that you have followed all the terms and conditions of the Tenancy Agreement and no damage has been caused to your accommodation.

If you have rebooked the same room and a tenancy covering that period has been signed, you can leave your staff in the room. Please make sure to throw away any food or rubbish and clean your room before you leave for holidays.
